Human Resources Manager

Location: Sioux Falls

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. This position is based in the corporate office with regular travel to all 18 store locations, including occasional overnight travel.

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 annually (DOE)

The Role

The Human Resources Manager serves as the organization's primary HR leader, partnering with store managers and executive leadership to support all aspects of Human Resources across our locations. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead recruiting, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, performance management, and leadership development while helping strengthen the employee experience throughout the organization.

As a member of our EOS Leadership Team, you'll have the opportunity to influence decisions, build new HR initiatives, and create processes that support the continued growth of the company.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary Human Resources resource for employees and leaders across 18 store locations
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for store and corporate positions
  • Partner with managers on employee relations, coaching, performance management, and corrective action
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee programs
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and annual open enrollment
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new full-time employees
  • Develop leadership training and manager development initiatives
  • Conduct HR audits and recommend improvements to HR processes and compliance
  • Support workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and employment verifications
  • Monitor workforce trends, turnover, and recruiting metrics to support business decisions
  • Travel regularly to store locations to build relationships and support leadership teams

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Five or more years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience managing employee relations and performance management
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong coaching and relationship-building abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR technology systems
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between store locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Multi-location or retail Human Resources experience
  • Experience building HR programs, training initiatives, or organizational development strategies
  • Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)
