Recruiter/Community Relations Specialist - Part time

Dakota Storage Buildings, doesn't just build sheds — they build trust, quality, and community connections that last. We’re looking for a people-first, community-minded recruiter to help us attract great talent and represent Dakota across Milbank and the surrounding region.

What You’ll Do

As a Part-Time Recruiter & Community Relations Specialist, you will:

?? Recruit Top Talent

  • Post and promote open roles across job boards, social media, and local networks

  • Screen applicants, schedule interviews, and guide candidates through the hiring process

  • Partner with hiring managers to align candidate pipelines with workforce needs

  • Track recruiting metrics and report on sourcing effectiveness

?? Strengthen Community Presence

  • Represent Dakota Storage at local job fairs, chamber events, school visits, and career expos

  • Develop and nurture relationships with workforce partners, schools, and community groups

  • Promote Dakota Storage’s mission and values through local engagement initiatives

?? Build Brand Awareness

  • Create social media content related to hiring, team culture, and community outreach

  • Collaborate with marketing on recruiting campaigns and internal communications

What We’re Looking For

  • A Go-getter who loves developing relationships

  • Experience in recruiting, HR, or community outreach preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you love meeting people

  • Proficiency with email, social media, and online job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Ability to work onsite in Milbank, SD, and attend occasional offsite events

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven
